Executive Functioning (EF) is the brain’s ability to perform management tasks such as setting goals, creating a plan and achieving objectives.
We have devised specific lessons to develop our student’s executive functioning skills.
Students are taught how to set short and long term goals, keep track of them and reflect on their progress.
Our executive functioning curriculum is coupled with behavioral strategies that support our student’s goal achievement and self-reinforcement.
Students learn to pay closer attention to important parts of a task and be more strategic with their actions.
Students improve their emotional self-regulation.
