Executive Functioning

Executive Functioning (EF) is the brain’s ability to perform management tasks such as setting goals, creating a plan and achieving objectives.

We have devised specific lessons to develop our student’s executive functioning skills.

  • Students are taught how to set short and long term goals, keep track of them and reflect on their progress.

  • Our executive functioning curriculum is coupled with behavioral strategies that support our student’s goal achievement and self-reinforcement.

  • Students learn to pay closer attention to important parts of a task and be more strategic with their actions.

  • Students improve their emotional self-regulation.
